Invincibility tokens are the most sought-after bonus in the game. They last about half of a phase and give you some brief respite to easily destroy enemies and re-prioritize your game play. When activated, your ship gains an invincibility bubble that you can use to destroy enemies. During this time, you cannot crash, and enemies are destroyed when they run into the shield. However, they do take time to re-charge following each use. Once used, you cannot re-activate the ship's invincibility for 20 seconds. Use these sparingly, because they don't come around often. These are best saved for later phases when the incoming enemies gets intense.
